Oxford University Clinical Research Unit (OUCRU) – part of the Wellcome Programme in Asia – aims to have a positive and significant impact on global health through the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases, building scientific capacity in the region, and by influencing regional and global public health policy. We meet these aims through a synergistic network of research units, led by OUCRU in HCMC and Hanoi, Viet Nam, and incorporating the Eijkman-Oxford Clinical Research Unit (EOCRU) in Jakarta, Indonesia, and OUCRU-Nepal in Kathmandu.
